*_The NPP suffered an election washout but now and still setting the agenda for NDC to follow, why?.. mansa musa writes

Isn’t it strange that a party which was overwhelmingly rejected by Ghanaians barely a year and a half ago, after suffering what was almost a total political wipeout, is now setting the agenda for the NDC to follow, despite the NDC’s overwhelming parliamentary majority and massive public support?

*The reason is not far-fetched.*

Immediately after assuming the reins of government, the NDC abandoned its promised no-nonsense approach to accountability and instead embarked on a path of placation and appeasement toward individuals suspected of wrongdoing, apparently in the name of maintaining peace and tranquility in the country.

But history continues to remind those who are willing to learn. Appeasing elements within the UP tradition setup is akin to rubbing one’s nose against the head of a live viper.

*As the saying goes, “A word to the wise is enough.”*

So the question is: how many reminders does this NDC government under John Dramani Mahama need?

As things stand, Ken Ofori-Atta is unlikely to do Ghanaians the favour of returning voluntarily. So, is the quest for answers regarding the economic meltdown which caused untold hardship, misery, and international embarrassment, now dead and buried?

If not, why have Ghanaians not been officially informed about invitations or summons issued to Akufo-Addo, Bawumia, Boakye Agyarko, Frema Opare, Yaw Osafo-Maafo, and former ministers responsible for agriculture, roads, education, and other key sectors to appear before a tribunal of inquiry?

*Can anybody, from the Presidency down to the District Assemblies respond to this?*

Mansa Musa, together with the many agonising members of society, is waiting for answers.
*Please share far and wide 🙏*
