Pollsters can conduct surveys all they want, but ultimately it is up to the individuals concerned, especially when those individuals form a subset of a larger and significant component of the ruling party.
They must withhold judgment and maintain their composure amid the prevailing discussions and suggestions derived from polling data.
It is therefore prudent on the part of Mr. Calistus Mahama to issue a timely cautionary reminder to the entire NDC top hierarchy to desist from this unnecessary jockeying for positional advantage for the top job.
This is particularly important given their current responsibility to ensure visible, verifiable, and tangible outcomes in their respective assignments, outcomes that will ultimately determine citizens’ choices and preferences going forward.
